All  of the RDA Group Fitness Classes are fully adaptable. Our classes are beginner friendly yet challenging for experienced members. Our awesome  instructors will help you take your fitness to the next level…..

Do you find it tough to get out of bed and get going early on Saturday mornings but you still want to get a great workout in before the weekend errands begin?
We hear you and guess what, we can help……
Saturday morning SPIN CLASS has a new start time. Beginning Saturday October 20th, SPIN CLASS will move to a 9:30 am start time.
Same great class with the same great instructors.

RDA GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Spin – Instructor led indoor cycling. The instructor will lead you through a warm-up, steady up tempo cadences, sprints, and climbs with a final cool down. You control the resistance on your bike to make pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. This is a great Cardio workout for all levels of experience!

Tabata – An interval based workout consisting of segments called “Tabatas”. Each Tabata is 4 minutes of high-intensity training, alternating between 20 seconds of max training (strength or cardio) followed by a 10-second rest for a total of 8 rounds. The exercises will be varied using body weight, cardio and resistance equipment. Workouts are fast-paced, fun and burn tons of calories.

Zumba – An easy to follow (and super fun!) high-energy dance workout set to Latin, international and pop music. Class is interval format combining fast paced and slower rhythms into an hour of pure cardio FUN. There are no wrong moves in Zumba so you don’t need to be a great dancer to enjoy the class … So join the party and forget about the workout!

Cross Spin – 15 minute warm up on the spin bikes followed by the strength portion which consists of basic strength moves mixed with intermediate level plyometric moves. Everything can be modified. This class is great for beginners who are ready for a challenge. Box jumps, kettle bell swings, burpees and wall ball exercises are all part of this program.
Barbells – Tone and strengthen your entire body using barbell, dumbbell and body weight exercises to target all the major muscle groups. Your instructor will guide you through a total body resistance workout emphasizing proper form with energizing music to push you to the finish.

Yoga – A mixed-level alignment based Hatha Yoga Flow class designed for everyone. This class concentrates on physical health/mental well-being achieved through breath work, poses, and meditation. There is a heavy emphasis on alignment designed to keep the participant safe while improving flexibility, building strength, and cultivating inner peace.

Balance – Strength – Stretch for Seniors – A fitness class for ages 55 and older to improve balance, build strength, increase bone density, improve range of motion, and build endurance. It is a functional fitness class designed to help make everyday tasks for the older individual easier and to help them maintain their independence as they age.
Mind/Body – Is a combination class of yoga, Pilates, and resistance training using light weights, resistance bands, stability balls, and other fitness accessories. All exercises are low impact designed to combat osteopenia, osteoporosis, and arthritis, build core strength, improve balance and posture, decrease common middle age aches and pains, and cultivate mindfulness from within.

Yoga Nidra Meditation – Is a guided meditation that hovers the participant in a state between wakefulness and sleep that is conducive to deep emotional and physical healing, rewiring your brain and self-exploration. Often referred to as “yogic sleep”. Thirty minutes of yoga nidra is believed to be equivalent to 4 hours of sleep!
Chair Yoga – A yoga class done in and around a chair to build strength, bone density, core stability, flexibility, and focus. The class is designed for those who have limitations in the hips, knees, ankles, and/or feet or for people could simply benefit from the support of the chair in specific yoga poses.

H.I.I.T. – A total body workout that utilizes weights, body bars and resistance bands. This is a great workout for the beginner as well as the experienced member. This group fitness class is led with high energy and motivational encouragement!
Body Sculpt – A total body workout that utilizes weights, stability balls, your own body weight, and resistance bands. This is a significant workout for both experienced members as well as beginners. This hour long class is led with a great amount of energy and encouragement.

Barre Fit – This 45 minute full body workout uses a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga, Pilates, and functional training. The barre is used as a prop while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. You’ll also use balls, bands, slides, and light handheld weights to sculpt, slim, and create long lean powerful muscles.

Muscle School – Is an educational experience to help you get the most out of your workouts. In a world driven by social media, where everyone claims to be an expert, this one hour hands-on session destroys misguided workout myths and bro-science by using real science to help you make the most of your time at RDA Fitness. Learn proper technique to get the best results from an exercise and find out which variations are best options for your physical structure and fitness goals. Let the gains begin!
